VOCABULARY

Training Dataset

Training dataset is a collection of data used to train a machine learning model. It's the primary source of information the model learns from, consisting of input-output pairs that guide the model in making predictions or decisions.

How Training Datasets are Used

During the training process, the model iteratively adjusts its parameters to minimize errors between its predictions and actual outputs in the training dataset. For example, in supervised learning, a training dataset with labeled examples helps the model learn to associate specific inputs with correct outputs.
